Meet Michael! With over 20 years of healthcare experience, Michael has a specialized interest in caring for the medical and psychiatric needs of the LGBTQ+ community. In addition to an emphasis with HIV, PrEP, and STD awareness/education, his background includes working as a Sexual Health Nurse Practitioner. Prior, he served nearly a decade at Cleveland Clinic in international operations, analytics, and a nurse leader within neurological-surgical critical care. He was instrumental as a Lead Provider Consultant with IBM Watson Health for nearly 6 years in program analytics focusing on quality performance outcomes. Michael is a gay registered provider with the GLMA and OutCare attesting for his advocacy for the LGBTQ+ community. Michael is an active member of more than 6 professional organizations

He earned his Master’s degree in Science of Nursing from the University of Cincinnati and his post graduate certificate in Psychiatry from Wilkes University. He is dual board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners National Certification Board as an Adult Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner (AGNP-C), and by the American Nurses Credentialing Center as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC). He is also an HIV specialist credentialed by the American Academy of HIV Medicine.
